The Painting of a Bus

It was a tense moment, but I finally got to the point where I "had" to paint.....
The color you see here is not accurate: It is really
green (close to street sign green, but with a tad more blue)
My engine compartment came out OK, and I hope I can keep it
clean! On the left side, where the spare tire well was cut (I didn't do it!), I plan
to install some kind of spare parts/tools/oil rack....later...
The masking of the nose swage lines came out pretty well....I got the curve on the right side better than the left, but you can't really tell unless you sight down the line from the side. One thing that I did notice (a little late to do anything about it now), is that the lower tip of the swoop is canted slightly to the driver's side. So from the front, it looks like the bus has a smirk.....
All in all, I am pretty stoked by the way it came out.
The engine compartment lid needs another pass with the sprayer (there's a lighter
spot), and there are a couple really dark spots that I'll have to blend in on the side
panels. With an airbrush, I'll be touching up a few places, like the passenger side
door edges, the engine compartment door hinges, and a place on the rear hatch where I'll
have to sand some contaminants out. I figure I'll spot mask and then wipe any
overspray off.
I have to finish up the interior....I wasn't going to paint it at all yet, but now all that needs to be done are the driver's side cargo windows, the parcel tray, and the dash. Might as well...
